I have always loved the impressionistic style and have always desired to paint. At the beginning of the pandemic, April of 2020, I retired and began painting. I have no formal training. I am self taught, and have used online tutorials. I have found that acrylics work best for me, but continue to experiment with other mediums. As of February 2024 I have fallen in love with soft pastels and am currently painting a few pieces a month I am an advanced self taught photographer since 2005, and now mostly use my photos as resources for my paintings.
