Believed to be an Asian Carp that has bred with local fish (which we do not know)into an "American Carp" Some are already calling it "The Meramec Manfish" This is the first sighting known. Hooked on the Meramec River near Fenton, but snapped the line and escaped. Please be careful out there!

I have always loved the impressionistic style and have always desired to paint. At the beginning of the pandemic, April of 2020, I retired and began painting. I have no formal training. I am self taught, and have used online tutorials. I have found that acrylics work best for me, but continue to experiment with other mediums. I am an advanced self taught photographer since 2005, and now mostly use my photos as resources for my paintings. I believe it is important to have a personal connection with the subject of the painting. My early years as an artist were focused mainly on music.
